Our growing country

Going off of today's Thinspiration, I heard an interesting statistic on the radio this morning and had to check it out when I got into work. According to this LA Times article, 42% of American adults will be obese by 2030 (compared to the 36% today).

Holy cow! And to think I used to be part of that growing statistic. Ladies and gentlemen, this does NOT have to be our future. As they say in one of my favorite movies, "a man can change his stars". We can prevent this.

Maybe the future world in Wall-e is not so far in the future after all...
